Chiropractic Management of Lumbar Disc Derangements, An extensive review of detailed anatomical and neurophysiological functions of the intervertebral disc and surrounding structures in the human lumbar spine. Categories of disc pathology in both the acute and chronic spine pain patient along with etiological mechanisms of both traumatically induced and degenerative disc disease were presented. Specific clinical presentations and their associated neurological and orthopedic examination findings were reviewed and presented. Physical examination procedures were outlined and reviewed pertaining to the diagnosis and triage of spine patients with an emphasis on clinical correlation of physical examination findings and MRI studies.
